Orientation starts August 3 and 4, ensuring you're fully prepared when students begin. You'll work collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering resource and self-contained OT services that positively impact students' daily lives near Algonquin, IL.
Qualifications & Experience:
Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with elementary and middle school populations Comfortable providing therapy to diverse learners in both resource and self-contained classroom settings Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to adapt to various educational needs and environments
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services onsite for grades K-8, per student IEPs Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, parents, and allied professionals Participate in monthly meetings and roundtable discussions for ongoing collaboration Utilize readily available materials and equipment to implement interventions Engage in annual performance reviews and process improvement initiatives Document services and progress in a timely and compliant manner
