Key Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Illinois Experience in school-based settings highly valued Comfortable working with K-12 student populations, adapting support to diverse needs Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork with staff and families Flexibility and organizational skills for managing a caseload with limited weekly hours

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students Assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings Document progress, maintain accurate therapy records, and provide updates to the team Equip students with adaptive strategies to enhance their participation in academic and daily activities Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families to achieve student goals Participate in planning and problem-solving to improve student access and inclusion This position is based in Lake in the Hills, IL, with approximately 15 hours per week and a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs.
