Requirements:
Current Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (or eligibility) Experience in a school setting—servicing K-6 students preferred Knowledge of school-based interventions and IEP documentation Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent time management and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide OT services for K-6 students (approximately 20 students) during ESY Assess students' needs and develop/implement individualized therapeutic interventions Document progress, maintain accurate records, and attend IEP meetings as needed Work flexibly—10-15 hours per week—customize your schedule in coordination with classroom needs Share expertise and resources with other school staff
