Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle school students as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. This on-site, contract role places you within a collaborative environment, working alongside a dedicated team of eight OT professionals to positively impact student growth and learning.

Key Details:

Contract dates: August 24, 2026 - June 3, 2027 On-site at two middle school locations Full-time hours preferred (7:45am-3:15pm, Monday-Friday, aligned with the school schedule) Alternatively, two part-time professionals may be considered

Desired Skills and Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist license for school settings Experience providing OT services within a school environment (preferred) Strong evaluation and documentation skills, including initial and re-evaluations Familiarity with IEPs, MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), and special education eligibility processes Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Comfortable consulting with multidisciplinary teams and supporting educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy evaluations to determine or re-assess special education eligibility Participate in middle school building-level teams to support student intervention and goal development Provide direct IEP, MTSS, and consultative OT services for students Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote skills generalization across environments Document services in accordance with district procedures This is your chance to contribute meaningfully in a supportive school district, where your expertise helps enhance student access, engagement, and success.
