Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Unlock a rewarding position supporting students in a vibrant educational setting as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. Bring your expertise to a diverse K-12 caseload for the 2026-2027 school year, working full-time hours (37.5 weekly) on a contract basis. This opportunity allows you to make a genuine difference from August 19, 2026, through June 7, 2027. What you'll bring: Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy Current Illinois state OT license Prior school-based OT experience preferred, though enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with students, staff, and families Passion for fostering student independence and participation Key responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students, tailoring interventions to individual needs Create and implement individualized treatment plans to support student achievement and participation Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote learning and skill development Complete thorough evaluations, progress monitoring, and required documentation Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams, advocating for students' access and success Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based therapy services You'll enjoy:
