Job Description

Passionate about supporting students' independence in a dynamic school environment? This contract role as an Occupational Therapist offers the chance to contribute your skills to a dedicated educational team serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Situated near Glenview, IL, you'll work a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with regular hours from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm. You'll provide services across multiple schools, with opportunities to engage in both early childhood assessment teams and elementary settings. The caseload size and age group may vary based on program needs, ensuring variety in your week and the ability to make a real difference with diverse populations.
Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy credentials required Previous experience in a school setting preferred Comfortable serving a K-12 student population Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches for multi-school assignments
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services for students as outlined in IEPs Complete assessments and documentation on student progress and needs Participate in early childhood assessment teams as well as support elementary students Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for holistic student support Travel between schools as needed to meet caseload requirements In addition to a highly competitive compensation package, you will enjoy weekly pay, comprehensive insurance options (medical, dental, vision, life), a matching 401k plan, and access to a flexible spending account.
