Preferred Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide related therapy services within a public school setting . This school-based OT role involves working with students receiving special education services , supporting their physical, emotional, sensory, and self-care development to help them achieve IEP goals. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments using diagnostic tools to evaluate fine motor, visual-motor, perceptual, sensory-motor, and self-care skills. Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams, including teachers, therapists, and families. Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals and objectives tailored to each student's needs. Deliver therapy sessions through individual, group, or consultative models based on IEP requirements. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Support student independence and participation in the academic environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Valid State Occupational Therapy License Educational/Teacher Certification if mandated by state guidelines Experience in pediatrics, sensory integration, neurodevelopmental therapy (preferred) CPR and First Aid certification (preferred) Preferred Experience Prior experience working in school-based OT roles Understanding of IDEA and state-specific special education regulations Skilled in writing and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Familiarity with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, and other disabilities Why Join Princeton Staffing Solutions?
