Job Description

School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)•
ESY + 2026-2027
School Year Opportunities Location:
Highland Park & Northbrook, IL (Red Oak Campus + surrounding areas)
Setting:
On-site, School-Based Extended School Year (ESY)•1
OT Needed Dates:
As early as June 4•July 17 (if working Fridays)
Hours:
TBD based on placement and caseload
Overview:
We are seeking one Occupational Therapist (OT) for ESY services supporting students across multiple locations, including Red Oak Campus, Highland Park, and surrounding areas . Caseload specifics are still being finalized.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct OT services during ESY programming Support students with a range of needs (TBD based on placement) Collaborate with ESY staff and maintain required documentation 2026-2027 School Year (FY27)•
Multiple OT Openings Dates:
TBD (Full School Year)
Hours:
Full time, 7 hours/day + unpaid lunch (schedule varies by placement)
Overview:
We are hiring multiple full-time OTs for the upcoming school year across a variety of school-based settings in Highland Park and Northbrook, IL . Placements will vary based on district needs and therapist preference/experience.
Potential Placements Include:
Therapeutic Day School:
4 days/week in Highland Park + 1 day in Early Childhood (Highland Park or Northbrook) K-8
General Education/Resource:
Serving ~4 schools in Highland Park Early Childhood +
Gen Ed/Resource Building:
Highland Park Life Skills +
Gen Ed/Resource Building:
Highland Park Split Assignment:
3 days across two Northbrook schools (gen ed/resource/life skills mix) 2 days in Early Childhood (Highland Park/Northbrook)
Caseload:
Caseloads will be confirmed later in the summer Student needs including early childhood, general education, resource, and life skills populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and provide direct OT services Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites Maintain compliance with state and district documentation requirements
Qualifications:
Active Illinois OT license (or ability to obtain) School-based or pediatric experience preferred Comfortable working across varied student populations and settings Compensation for this position ranges from $34.46 to $64.46.
