Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based role working with children and supporting their growth as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This onsite, contract opportunity offers three full-time positions, each with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, starting with orientation on August 3 and 4, 2026. The school year begins on August 10, 2026, and runs through May 21, 2027. You will work with age groups that align with your preferences and expertise, ensuring a meaningful fit and professional satisfaction.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license. Previous experience in school settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Enthusiasm for collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary educational team. Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt to a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver school-based occupational therapy services to students, supporting their academic participation and development. Assess students' abilities and develop individualized intervention plans. Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required. Engage in regular collaboration with fellow OTs, educators, and administrators. Participate in professional development courses and information-sharing via monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and a vibrant intranet.
