Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting where your passion for occupational therapy will make a real difference! This full-time, onsite contract role is perfect for a dedicated OT who thrives in school environments and enjoys supporting a diverse student population. From August 19, 2026, through June 1, 2027, you'll have the rewarding responsibility of working in person with students ages 3 through 21. Each day presents fresh opportunities to collaborate with a supportive team and help students reach their fullest potential. What you'll bring: Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license (required) Experience working as an OT in school settings preferred Skill in providing therapy tailored to a wide age range, including children and young adults aged 3-21 Ability to develop evidence-based intervention plans that support student success Flexibility and adaptability—ready to address varying needs across different programs Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with educators, administrators, and families Commitment to professional growth and continued learning What you'll do: Deliver in-person, school-based occupational therapy services 35 hours per week Assess students and implement individualized OT programs that build crucial skills and foster independence Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusion and educational achievement Create documentation that accurately tracks student progress and therapy outcomes Engage in exceptional professional development opportunities provided by the co-op This is a meaningful opportunity for an OT ready to positively impact students with disabilities and contribute to a collaborative community of educators.
