An Occupational Therapist helps patients with injuries, illnesses, and disabilities recover, improve, or develop skills needed for everyday activities. Assists people with mobility impairments to move easily around their homes; develops school and workplace settings that are accessible for individuals with physical or mental disabilities. May specialize in certain types of impairments or certain categories of patients.
Part-Time, 0.6 FTE, Days Responsibilities Performs evaluations and re-evaluations on patients to establish plan of care and goals. Performs patient treatment per Occupational Therapy procedures of modalities, therapeutic exercise, ADL training and other accepted methods. Communicates pertinent information, verbally or written, to physician, other staff members and patients/caregivers. Supervises and directs Home Health Aide's care in relationship to the patient's rehab program. Demonstrates active participation in home care department functions. Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1.
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. 2. Current license as an Occupational Therapist. One (1) year recent clinical experience. Home Care experience preferred.4. Current BLS certification. 5. Current driver's license, car insurance, car registration, and reliable automobile.
