Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary and middle school students as part of a dynamic, collaborative school-based therapy team. This onsite position covers FMLA leave starting with orientation on August 3 and 4, supporting students from their first day on August 7, 2026, through October 15, 2026. Enjoy a full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week, providing occupational therapy services in both resource and self-contained settings.
Key Qualifications:
Experience delivering occupational therapy in elementary and middle school environments Proficiency in school-based OT models and familiarity with educational teams Ability to navigate resource and self-contained classrooms with diverse student needs Illinois OT licensure and necessary clearances for school-based work Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
What You'll Do:
Deliver individualized OT services to students in resource and self-contained classrooms Conduct assessments using readily available equipment and testing materials Develop and implement effective IEP-driven interventions Collaborate and problem-solve regularly with a supportive supervisor in your discipline Participate in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and annual performance reviews Engage in the improvement of processes to ensure top-tier, efficient therapy services Connect in real-time with colleagues across the region through a dedicated intranet platform
