Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role where you'll make a difference working with students as a contract Occupational Therapist in a supportive educational setting near Palatine, IL. This is the perfect opportunity to expand your experience across a variety of OT environments, including traditional school-based services, home health, teletherapy, and more—all while building invaluable career skills. What we're seeking: Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials for Illinois Previous work in school, healthcare, home health, and/or teletherapy settings is highly valued Ability to develop engaging, individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Comfort with technology and virtual therapy platforms Organizational skills to manage documentation and compliance requirements Key responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students with varying abilities Partner closely with IEP teams to set and monitor student goals Adapt therapy techniques for both in-person and virtual settings as needed Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes Communicate strategies and recommendations to families and school staff Participate in relevant meetings, trainings, and professional development activities This contract position offers you meaningful daily impact as well as exposure to innovative therapy delivery, such as teletherapy.
