Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based occupational therapy role where your expertise supports both elementary and high school students. This full-time, onsite position runs from August 3, 2026, through October 27, 2026, with a thorough two-day orientation before classes begin on August 31. As a valued OT in this contract role, you'll enjoy a robust support network and plentiful resources to foster your success and professional growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license and registration Previous experience in school settings, preferably with both elementary and high school populations Proficiency in resource and self-contained classroom settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to various educational needs and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in elementary resource and self-contained classrooms, plus high school environments Collaborate with educators, families, and support personnel to integrate therapy goals into daily routines Conduct comprehensive assessments and utilize a full array of testing materials provided Participate in team meetings, performance reviews, and continuous process improvement initiatives Utilize real-time collaboration tools and participate in monthly meetings and roundtable discussions Stay current and expand your skill set with access to professional development courses Enjoy a welcoming and structured introduction via a "Buddy Program" designed especially for new hires.
