This full-time, in-person position offers a chance to make a lasting impact with students ranging in age from 3 to 21 throughout the academic year, from August 19, 2026 to June 1, 2027. What you bring:
Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license in good standing Previous experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist (preferred) Confidence providing support to students with varying needs and disabilities Ability to tailor interventions for ages 3 through 21 Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt to different school settings and program needs Commitment to creating inclusive, student-centered therapeutic programs What you'll do: Deliver high-quality, on-site occupational therapy services in a school environment Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and other professionals to support student success Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reports Attend professional development sessions to enhance skills and stay current with best practices Actively participate in team meetings, IEP development, and family consultations as needed This role provides the chance to help shape effective school-based programs and services for students with disabilities, working with a collaborative and professionally enriching team.
