Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient team. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions to help patients improve their daily living skills and achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities Manage approximately 10 to 25 one-on-one visits per week, providing personalized treatment and rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's needs. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to establish effective treatment plans. Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy programs tailored to each patient's goals and abilities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes. Provide education and training to patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Document all patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-treatment. Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through ongoing professional development. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist. Knowledge of physiology and occupational health principles is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
