Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an engaging opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time contract role focuses on onsite work with students, collaborating closely with educators and families to create a positive difference throughout the academic year. Beginning August 10, 2026 and concluding May 28, 2027, you'll experience a fulfilling school-based environment where your expertise will be instrumental in fostering student success.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in Indiana Previous experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-aged children Ability to assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans within a school curriculum Skilled in maintaining clear communication with students, staff, and families Adaptable, organized, and able to balance a full-time, onsite caseload Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary school students Evaluate students referred for services and document findings Develop and implement individualized goals and interventions Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administration Consult with families and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for home Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements Support an inclusive and engaging learning environment This contract position offers an enriching blend of professional collaboration, hands-on involvement, and meaningful impact within an elementary school setting.
