Job Description

- $75,000-$90,000/year | Full-Time
- Crown Speech Therapy is looking for a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our growing pediatric therapy team in Merrillville, Indiana.

- Our full-time therapists have the flexibility to design their own weekly schedule as long as they provide 40 hours of availability. Whether you prefer earlier days, later days, or a schedule that varies throughout the week, we want you to have a schedule that works for your life while meeting the needs of your caseload. You'll also have:

- A locally owned private-practice environment where you know the people you work with What You'll Do As a pediatric OT, you'll evaluate and treat children with a variety of developmental and functional needs.
Treatment areas may include:
- Fine motor and visual-motor skills
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Activities of daily living and self-care
- Motor planning and coordination
- Handwriting and school-readiness skills
- Play and participation
- Feeding-related skills, when appropriate to your training and experience
- Parent/caregiver education and home programming You'll complete evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, provide ongoing treatment, document services, and collaborate with families and other members of each child's therapy team. What We're Looking For
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Indiana OT license or eligibility for Indiana licensure
- NBCOT certification
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dependability and good time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Pediatric experience preferred, but
- new graduates are welcome to apply
