Small Talk Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate, compassionate, and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. If you are committed to helping children reach their fullest potential and thrive in their everyday lives, we would love to hear from you. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with a diverse pediatric population, including children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental challenges. You will play a vital role in helping children build the skills they need to succeed at home, in school, and in their communities. What You'll DoPatient Assessment & Treatment Evaluate patients' physical, sensory, developmental, and functional abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs and goals. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve participation in activities of daily living (ADLs), play, learning, and social engagement. Facilitate rehabilitation for children with emotional, physical, developmental, or cognitive challenges. Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with families, caregivers, physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care. Educate families on treatment strategies, home programs, and ways to support continued progress. Communicate treatment outcomes and patient progress to appropriate parties. Monitoring & Documentation Monitor and assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes. Organize and update patient records in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Clinical Environment Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment. Support early intervention services for children with developmental delays and disabilities. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and family-centered clinic culture. Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist. Previous experience in occupational therapy or a related setting preferred. Experience working with pediatric populations and/or children with autism is a plus. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.
