Job Description

Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist providing virtual services to elementary school students in Rossville, IN. This role focuses on delivering telehealth and teletherapy interventions for students in grades K-4 and 5-6 across two elementary schools. The position requires 40 hours per week dedicated to supporting students' developmental and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in a virtual setting. Provide therapy sessions via telehealth platforms tailored to students' individual needs. Collaborate with IEP teams to develop and update individualized education plans. Monitor student progress and document outcomes to inform instruction and therapy adjustments. Perform Medicaid billing and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based practice. Proficiency in teletherapy and telehealth service delivery. Knowledge of Medicaid billing procedures related to school-based occupational therapy. Strong skills in conducting evaluations, creating treatment plans, and progress monitoring.
