Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing essential occupational therapy services during the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role offers the chance to work in a supportive school environment, delivering hands-on interventions and collaborating with a dynamic team. This position is in-person, two days a week, allowing for the perfect balance between professional fulfillment and personal flexibility.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Commitment to supporting student development and learning
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and establish appropriate goals Design and carry out individualized therapy sessions to promote fine motor, sensory, and functional skills Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and educational staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student Document progress and adapt therapy plans as needed for optimal outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team Maintain compliance with school and district policies as well as ethical standards
