Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact by providing occupational therapy services to students on a part-time contract basis in the Valparaiso, IN area. This opportunity allows you to work across two school locations, serving diverse student needs within a supportive educational environment. The assignment runs from May 5th, 2026, through June 5th, 2026, totaling 14 hours per week across two designated days. Each day is scheduled from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Desired Qualifications:
Active OT or COTA license in the state of Indiana (required; must be attached with resume to apply) Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for supporting student development and function Ability to travel between Portage and Valparaiso as part of the weekly caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and develop appropriate interventions Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Adapt interventions to a variety of student needs and abilities Participate in team meetings as required
