Job Description

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Current and valid state licensure for Occupational Therapy (or eligibility) Prior experience providing OT services in a school setting is preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy strategies tailored to diverse student needs Demonstrated organizational skills and adaptability within a fast-paced environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students strengths and needs relative to fine motor skills, sensory processing, activities of daily living, and classroom participation Develop and execute individualized treatment and intervention plans Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulations and school policies Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service professionals to integrate therapeutic recommendations within the classroom Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on student programs and progress Provide consultation and training to staff members to promote accessibility and inclusion for all students
