Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth services within an elementary school setting. This role involves providing virtual OT services to two elementary schools, supporting students in kindergarten through 6th grade (K-4 and 5-6). The position requires 40 hours per week, delivering comprehensive therapy through teletherapy platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting evaluations and therapy sessions via teletherapy to students in a virtual format Collaborating closely with school teams on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Managing Medicaid billing processes related to therapy services Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes to ensure effective interventions Desired qualifications or experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based practice Proficiency in telehealth and teletherapy service delivery Knowledge of Medicaid billing procedures and compliance Demonstrated skills in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with educational staff Familiarity with K-6 student developmental needs and school environment protocols This remote role enables the delivery of specialized OT support serving multiple schools, enhancing student outcomes through innovative teletherapy methods.
