Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Occupational Therapy Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred Familiarity with IEPs, goal writing, and progress monitoring for school-based therapy Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt and manage a caseload within a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services and implement individualized interventions for students K-12 Assess students' needs and develop appropriate, measurable treatment goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal requirements Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations Deliver training and resources to staff and families as needed
