This contract role emphasizes flexibility, patient-centered care, and the opportunity to control your own schedule. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments on children and adults. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, including early intervention strategies for pediatric clients. Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in an in-person setting. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system while adhering to confidentiality standards. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, exercises, and strategies to support ongoing improvement at home or in daily activities. Stay current with advancements in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to occupational therapy to ensure effective patient care. Experience Experience working with children in clinical environments is highly preferred. Experience providing speech therapy services for pediatric populations with disabilities or developmental delays. Experience working with geriatric patients addressing age-related communication or swallowing issues is a plus. Proven ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop effective treatment plans aligned with best practices. Strong understanding of medical terminology pertinent to occupational therapy practice.
