Key Qualifications:
Current and active Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana Experience or comfort delivering OT services in a school setting Willingness and ability to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Effective communicator with teachers, parents, and administrators Organized and self-motivated, able to travel to multiple schools as needed
Position Details & Duties:
Part-time schedule: 20-25 hours per week Direct OT services provided across four different school campuses Service delivery primarily on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; PreK evaluations conducted on Fridays Potential for virtual services while an onsite provider is being identified Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students Monitor and document student progress, updating plans as required Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes Supervise activities of a COTA, providing mentorship and ensuring quality care This is your chance to bring your OT expertise to a supportive educational environment, making a difference for students who need it most.
