Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' growth and development in an educational setting! A school-based contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with students near Arcadia, LA. This part-time position (20-25 hours per week) gives you the chance to shape young lives at four different schools while collaborating with dedicated educators and families.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current and active Louisiana OT license required Previous school-based OT experience highly preferred Willingness to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Strong communication and documentation skills Adaptability to work on-site and participate in all aspects of the school environment Comfort with performing PreK evaluations on Fridays Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students across Castor, Gibsland, and Arcadia High Schools, as well as Crawford Elementary Supervise and support a COTA within the district Complete thorough PreK evaluations on Fridays Collaborate with educational teams, teachers, and families to create and implement student-focused intervention plans Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
