Key Qualifications:

Hold an active Louisiana Occupational Therapy (OT) license Prior experience delivering occupational therapy in school settings preferred Comfortable evaluating and treating PreK through high school students Willingness and ability to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Flexibility to travel between assigned school sites

Role Responsibilities:

Provide school-based occupational therapy services to support students participation and performance Conduct PreK evaluations on Fridays, ensuring accurate assessment and documentation Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique needs Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff Maintain timely and detailed records in compliance with school and state guidelines Supervise and mentor a COTA to extend therapeutic support and interventions Foster a positive and inclusive environment that helps each student reach their potential

Position Details:

Contract position running from ASAP to May 21, 2027 Part-time schedule (20-25 hours/week), with services provided onsite across two convenient school locations Workdays are primarily Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with PreK evaluations scheduled on Fridays This is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated OT ready to make a difference in childrens lives and support educational success.
