Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist interested in making a difference through virtual services. Contribute your expertise in a part-time, remote setting, collaborating with students and supporting staff across grade levels. This position offers immediate start and flexibility for the right professional seeking short-term engagement.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana Experience in school-based OT settings preferred Proficiency in conducting re-evaluations and initial PreK assessments Ability to supervise and mentor a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Strong organizational and documentation skills Comfortable with virtual therapy platforms and telehealth delivery Motivated to provide quality support over a one to two-month period
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide virtual occupational therapy services as assigned Complete re-evaluations for students from PreK to secondary grade levels Perform PreK evaluations every Friday Serve as primary OT supervisor for the COTA throughout the contract Maintain timely and compliant documentation Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff Fulfill all reporting and administrative responsibilities associated with regulated virtual practice This contract is part-time and requires immediate availability. The selected Occupational Therapist will ensure high standards of service delivery during the assignment, with a focus on seamless support for the existing COTA. After the initial period, ongoing COTA supervision may be available as a separate opportunity.
