An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students from PreK through 8th grade in a dynamic school setting near Gretna, LA. Work alongside experienced colleagues in a collaborative environment, sharing an office with a PT and Adapted Physical Education specialist, while also benefitting from COTA assistance one day per week. This full-time, onsite position provides the chance to make a meaningful impact on student development throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure required Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred Knowledge of therapy practices for diverse student populations, including PreK-8th grade Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for supporting pediatric growth and student achievement

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver therapy services for a PreK-8th grade caseload Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans Utilize shared resources and consult with a COTA and interdisciplinary colleagues
