9561088-70065 Job Description Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite role serves a vibrant PreK-8th grade caseload and places you alongside a Physical Therapist, Adaptive Physical Education specialist, and a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who assists once a week. Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure is required for this position. Prior experience with pediatric populations, ideally in PreK through eighth grade. Understanding of school-based OT services, such as IEP documentation, student evaluations, and intervention planning. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team with fellow therapists and school staff. Strong communication and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct OT services to a diverse PreK-8th grade student body. Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development, progress reports, and necessary documentation. Collaborate with other on-site therapists, educational staff, and the assisting COTA. Design and implement interventions supporting students academic, behavioral, and functional skills. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-related events as needed.
