9692137-70070 Job Description An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Occupational Therapist to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, onsite role runs from ASAP through late May 2027, providing vital itinerant OT support across K-12 grade levels. The successful candidate will collaborate with students and staff, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to foster students success and growth.

Key Qualifications:

Valid OT State License required Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting is highly valued Comfortable working with a diverse caseload of approximately 75-100 students spanning all grade levels Ability to travel between sites within the district as needed Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Commitment to evidence-based interventions and individualized student care

Primary Responsibilities:

Evaluate students referred for occupational therapy, determining strengths and areas for support Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans Work closely with educators and other support staff to ensure cohesive service delivery Document student progress toward goals, maintaining accurate and timely records Engage and educate family members regarding strategies to support skills at home Attend team meetings, IEP reviews, and consultations as required Travel to and provide services at multiple school sites within the district This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in students lives, grow professionally, and build rewarding relationships within a supportive school community.
