Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Louisiana Prior experience working in a school-based setting (PreK-8th grade experience is a plus) Familiarity with IEPs, goal writing, and adaptive strategies for the classroom Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (PT, APE, COTA, educators)

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess and deliver occupational therapy services to students, promoting participation and independence in school routines Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and family members to implement effective interventions Develop, monitor, and update individualized treatment plans and goals Maintain clear, timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Utilize shared office space efficiently, fostering a positive, team-focused atmosphere Engage with a diverse school community and adapt services to meet the unique needs of students
