Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Elevate your career as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant PreK-8th grade setting, providing essential support and innovative interventions to young learners. In this full-time contract role, based onsite and following a standard 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM schedule, you'll collaborate closely with a Physical Therapist and Adapted Physical Education professional in a shared office environment, and receive additional assistance from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant once a week. Your expertise will make a real difference in a dynamic, inclusive academy dedicated to student growth and empowerment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active and valid Occupational Therapist license Background providing OT services within school environments, preferably with experience in PreK-8th grade Proficient in planning and delivering individualized educational and therapeutic interventions Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Organized, effective communicator, and able to adapt to the varied needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, fostering engagement, independence, and academic success Assess, develop, and implement tailored treatment plans in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines Collaborate with teachers, therapists, families, and school teams for comprehensive student support Maintain thorough documentation and keep accurate records on student progress Participate in staff meetings, contribute to school initiatives, and provide professional insight where needed
