Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential occupational therapy services in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity is located near Amherst, MA, and offers the chance to work directly with students while collaborating with educators and families to foster growth and independence. What we're seeking: Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts Experience providing OT services in educational settings Comfort with both direct and consultative OT service models Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 11 students Skilled at administering individualized and small group therapy sessions Strong communication and organizational abilities Collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and related service staff Your responsibilities will include: Delivering direct occupational therapy to students, both individually and in small groups, with sessions scheduled 1-2 times per week for 20-30 minutes each Consulting with teachers and staff to support student participation and success in the classroom Documenting therapy sessions and student progress in accordance with school policies Participating in meetings and providing input to student support teams as appropriate Adjusting therapy plans as needed to meet individualized education program (IEP) goals This role is for 2 days per week through the remainder of the school year, with potential to interview for positions in the next school year as well.
