Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-5 elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is ideal for someone passionate about helping children thrive in a dynamic educational setting. Qualifications:
Active, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Massachusetts Prior experience working as an OT in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged children Familiarity with OT-related assessments, treatment planning, and documentation as required in education Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to create engaging, goal-oriented activities tailored to individual student needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to K-5 students in accordance with their IEPs and school goals Assess students' functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to support student participation and success Maintain timely, organized documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student support strategies Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes independence and confidence This school-based Occupational Therapy role offers the chance to help shape young lives while honing your skills in an educational environment.
