Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for a qualified Occupational Therapist to support a unique, one-time contract providing compensatory services onsite. This hands-on assignment addresses the needs of a former student, ensuring compliance with state-mandated requirements and delivering essential care despite changes in district enrollment. Desired Experience & Skills:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts Previous experience working in school-based settings and/or home health environments Familiarity with compensatory and PRS (Problem Resolution System) cases strongly preferred Ability to assess, plan, and deliver individualized OT services for pediatric clients Professionalism, strong communication skills, and comfort working in unusual or transitional case scenarios Willingness to work onsite in Lexington, MA; remote or virtual services are not an option

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a total of 8 hours of Occupational Therapy services per assignment requirements Conduct direct therapy for a former student, providing interventions aligned with agreed compensatory services Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with state directives and best practices Collaborate effectively with school administrators and, when appropriate, the receiving district to coordinate schedules and support Exercise thoughtful, creative problem-solving in the context of provider-family-district relationships
