School-Based Occupational Therapist Position Responsibilities Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skills Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate documentation and service records Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines Consult with school staff regarding accommodations and strategies to support student success Required Qualifications Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist (OT) License School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Passion for helping students reach their full potential Why Join Sunbelt Staffing?
