Occupational Therapist School Setting in Methuen, MA BlazerJobs - 3.4 Methuen, MA Job Details Part-time $38.62 - $58.62 an hour 10 days ago Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This contract position is perfect for a skilled Occupational Therapist who thrives working with diverse student populations and is dedicated to making a difference every day. Located near Methuen, MA, this opportunity focuses on providing essential OT services to PreK and high school students, including those with social-emotional, behavioral needs, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The position runs from July 6, 2026, through August 13, 2026, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM (22 hours per week).
Desired Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license (required) Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy Comfortable providing support to PreK students with social-emotional and behavioral needs, as well as elementary and secondary students with ASD Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Professional, compassionate, and adaptable to meet student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for assigned students Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on student needs Deliver direct and consultative OT services for PreK through high school ASD programs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development Maintain detailed and timely documentation of progress and services rendered Consult with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom settings Foster a supportive, inclusive environment to optimize student outcomes Embrace the opportunity to enrich students' lives while gaining valuable experience in a supportive school community.
