As a licensed Occupational Therapist with the Northern Berkshire Early Intervention team you will help infants and toddlers build the skills they need to thrive. You'll work directly with children and families in their natural environments, coaching caregivers, celebrating milestones, and making a lasting impact during the most important years of development. Position Highlights Provide developmental evaluations and occupational therapy services for children birth to age 3 Support fine motor, sensory, feeding, self-care, and developmental skill acquisition Recommend adaptive equipment and therapeutic interventions Collaborate with developmental specialists, PTs, SLPs, and service coordinators Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) Document services in accordance with Massachusetts Early Intervention standards This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on young lives and families while enjoying flexibility, autonomy, professional growth, and a supportive team environment Occupational Therapist Requirements Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in good standing Early Intervention Specialist certification or ability to obtain certification through Massachusetts DPH requirements in first two years of employment Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families preferred Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices, including sensory, developmental, and feeding interventions Experience supervising or mentoring COTAs preferred Comfortable with electronic health records and standard business software (Outlook, Word, and Teams) Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail and follow-through Strong communication skills and cultural competency Ability to work independently while collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance Occupational Therapist Benefits $3000 sign on bonus Quarterly Productivity Bonus Annual reimbursement (up to $500) towards licensure, certification, or professional memberships Medical, dental and vision insurance after first month of employment Earn two weeks of vacation in first year of employment, and three weeks of vacation after first year 13 holidays per year Three personal days per year Earn up to seven sick days per year May qualify toward student loan forgiveness program 403(b) retirement plan with agency match to support your future Mileage reimbursement for business travel Employee referral bonus program - bring great people to a great place Employee Assistance Program for you and your household About Us As part of the UCP affiliate network, UCP of Western Massachusetts offers a variety of community programs and services for persons with disabilities and other similar service needs, including Assistive Technology, Early Intervention, Individual and Family Support, and Adult Family Care.
