Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your passion for supporting children's growth and development to this dynamic opportunity as an Occupational Therapist in a district-wide setting. This rewarding contract role supports approximately 30 students across various school sites, offering both flexibility and professional fulfillment. Enjoy the option of a traditional full-time schedule at 32.5 hours per week or choose a four-day workweek with a 24-hour commitment to fit your lifestyle needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active state OT license (or eligibility) Previous experience working in school settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring Compassion for supporting diverse learners, with adaptability to meet a range of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the district-wide OT supporting roughly 30 students Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student goals Monitor progress and update documentation according to district and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic recommendations into the classroom Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and expertise in developing student plans Travel between school sites within the district as needed This flexible contract assignment provides the chance to build lasting relationships with students and staff, play a key role in students' overall success, and work in a supportive educational environment.
