1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an outpatient hand and neuro rehab setting, requiring a valid MA OT license and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Details Outpatient occupational therapy setting specializing in hand and neuro rehabilitation Variable weekly schedule: Mon/Wed 9:00am-5:30pm, Tue/Fri 8:00am-4:30pm, Thu 8:30am-5:00pm 13-week contract Epic EMR used for charting Requirements Valid MA OT license required; conditional licenses not accepted (license required if applicable) BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; Red Cross not accepted for this location Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required; MS or Doctorate preferred Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist required 2 professional references required for consideration Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted Additional Information Provide individualized patient care focused on optimizing physical, functional, psychological, social, and emotional well-being Reports to the Assistant Director of Rehabilitation Services under clinical supervision of Level II Therapists Time keeping managed through UKG/Kronos Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but subject to a reduced pay rate Parking is not validated at this location; public parking is available at candidate's expense, and public transportation is recommended
