Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive elementary school team in Quincy, Massachusetts for the 2026-2027 school year. The OT will provide services to students in grades K-5, helping them develop the skills needed to participate successfully in educational activities and school routines. Responsibilities Evaluate students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and functional performance skills. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals. Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services in individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and therapy records in compliance with district and state requirements. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and strategies to enhance student participation and independence. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license. NBCOT certification preferred. Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Benefits Competitive compensation. Consistent full-time schedule.
