Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where your skills as an Occupational Therapist can shine in a vibrant educational environment. This contract position offers a full-time schedule (32.5 hours per week) and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students for the entire 26/27 academic year. Working onsite near Quincy, MA, you will provide direct services that foster student growth, independence, and participation in the school setting.
Desired Qualifications:
Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Massachusetts Previous experience in a school-based setting or supporting school-aged children preferred Strong collaboration and communication abilities Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and needs across K-12 Excellent organizational skills and attention to documentation requirements Passion for delivering effective, student-centered therapy
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapy sessions (individual or group) to address fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support educational outcomes Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and contribute to educational planning Serve as a valuable resource for integrating assistive strategies in the classroom Maintain compliance with all school and state regulations
