About Us Nashoba Pediatric Therapies is a growing pediatric therapy practice in Shirley, Massachusetts. We provide neurodiversity-affirming, play-based, family-centered care and believe effective therapy starts with understanding each child's individual strengths, needs, interests, and relationships. We are looking for Occupational Therapists who are excited about helping children and families make meaningful progress without a one-size-fits-all approach to treatment. Experience with—or an interest in learning—the DIR/Floortime approach is highly desirable. New Graduates and Therapists Changing Specialties Welcome You do not need to arrive knowing everything about pediatric practice. We provide individualized mentoring and professional development to support therapists transitioning from student to independent clinician as well as experienced therapists moving from another specialty into pediatrics. Depending on the therapist's interests and professional goals, advanced training opportunities may include: DIR/Floortime certification Ayres Sensory Integration Advanced feeding therapy Other specialty training that supports the needs and mission of the practice Position Details We are hiring a full-time or part-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist for our Shirley clinic. We are open to discussing flexible scheduling. Because after-school appointments are highly important to the families we serve, part-time schedules must include some after-school availability. The specific days and hours can be discussed based on the therapist's availability and the needs of the clinic. No weekend hours are required. Your Role Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized, functional treatment plans Provide play-based interventions addressing areas such as regulation, social-emotional development, motor skills, sensory processing, executive functioning, feeding, and daily living skills Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support meaningful carryover beyond the therapy session Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with clinic standards Collaborate with other therapists and members of the child's team when appropriate Opportunities to Grow With Us We want therapists to have opportunities to develop professionally—not simply build a larger caseload. Therapists may have the opportunity to help develop programs in areas of personal clinical interest when those interests align with the needs of our families and the mission of Nashoba Pediatric Therapies. Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy Massachusetts OT license or eligibility for licensure Interest in working with children with a wide range of developmental, sensory, motor, emotional regulation, and functional needs Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and family-centered care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Desire to continue learning and developing as a clinician Why Join NPT?
