Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist! Two full-time positions are available, both situated on the south end of St. Marys County. This assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through June 17, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar for an optimal work-life balance. Your skills in pediatric occupational therapy and your passion for empowering students to succeed will be essential in this school-based setting. You'll work collaboratively alongside educators and support staff, contributing directly to student growth and achievement.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Maryland Occupational Therapy license Experience with pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to evaluate and develop individualized intervention plans Commitment to compliance with state and federal regulations
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans to support academic and functional skills Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school environment Document evaluations, progress notes, and ongoing treatment in accordance with district and legal guidelines Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning Adapt interventions to meet varied student needs and promote inclusion Take advantage of the academic schedule while making a genuine impact on childrens lives.
