Occupational Therapist-Village Crossing at Worman's Mill Move for Life Physical Therapy - Frederick, MD Move for Life Physical Therapy is currently seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to join our MD team. Move for Life Physical Therapy is a privately owned and operated rehabilitation practice comprised of highly skilled physical, occupational and speech therapists that provide unparalleled rehabilitative services to patients residing in assisted/independent living communities in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Massachusetts. Responsibilities include:
Identify and meet patients' goals and needs Offer effective treatments that help improve clients' motion and mobility Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Consult with other healthcare professionals Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress Document patient care services
Requirements:
Valid license to practice occupational therapy in the state of MD Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program Proven working experience as a licensed occupational therapist Must demonstrate professional demeanor, work independently, and manage time efficiently Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred Extensive education and clinical expertise Knowledge of current treatment practices Excellent interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Excellent interpersonal communication skills If you desire a rewarding career with a clinical practice that respects your talents and needs, look no further and apply today.
