Job Description
Ref #: 9140604 Join us in Lanham, MD for a 14-week, contract (non-travel) role starting June 15, 2026. You'll work a predictable weekday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. What you'll bring A current, valid Occupational Therapy state license. CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included). What you'll do Assess patients' physical and cognitive strengths and limitations, and consider their home and community environments to set realistic goals. Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans using a range of therapeutic approaches to help patients regain or improve daily living skills. Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices to boost independence. Teach patients and their families practical strategies for managing conditions and maintaining function at home. Track and document progress regularly, adjust plans as needed, and work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
