Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient clinic, providing expert care to pediatric and/or adult patients. In this role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life. Whether working with children in early intervention or school-age, or supporting adults after accident, illness, or surgery, you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain independence and achieve their goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference across diverse patient populations while utilizing your specialized skills in occupational therapy. If you have a passion in one area of practice, we can support that so that you can focus on your preferred area, whether it's worker's comp / orth or neuro, feeding, sensory, or other. Must be reliable, engaged, and a strong team player. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning to identify therapy needs. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on enhancing activities of daily living (ADLs), motor skills, and overall independence. Assist patients with ADLs such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility to promote self-sufficiency. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists and physical therapists. Manage discharge planning. Work with individuals with disabilities or developmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder to improve functional skills. Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform effective treatment approaches across inpatient, outpatient, home health, skilled nursing facilities, and school environments. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Experience working with pediatric populations in early intervention or school settings is highly desirable. Proven ability to work with adult patients in outpatient clinics or post-acute care environments. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to occupational therapy practices. Demonstrated skill in case management and discharge planning for diverse patient needs. Experience assisting with ADLs and working with individuals with autism or disabilities is preferred. Pay:
$45.08 - $54.29 per hour
